Two of my bestest friends got married! I’m over the moon excited for you two to spend the rest of your lives together. You both are more deserving than any one of finding someone who loves, cherishes, and supports you no matter what, and I’m glad you found that in each other. Thank you for letting me help you celebrate this day. I love you both, congratulations!

If “Every Day Pride” was ever going to release an album this would be the cover. My apologies to the others, but it’s true. How bad ass is this group of friends?

“Hello! I am Grace I am an 18 year old college student at the U, my dream is to be a neurosurgeon! I identify as a lesbian/queer, and non-binary! My pronouns are They/Them. I group up in the lds church and started to question my identity in the 8th grade. After a long process of coming out, I was finally my authentic self. As a fat person I never see fat queer representation. Queer joy is so important to photograph, representation of queer people is little and far between and even just my silly group of lgbtq+ friends makes me feel so happy and seen.”

“Hey my name is Caecelia I’m 19 (and I never f***ing learned how to read) and I use she/they pronouns. I identify as queer/bisexual. I grew up very catholic so I didn’t know much about the lgbtq community or that it was even really a thing. The little bit I did know I was told was bad. Then in middle school as I met new friends and had more access to the internet, I learned more and had my first girl crush. I got more involved in the community because of my new friends and made great relationships from being lgbtq. I hope this project helps more people feel safe being lgbtq in Utah.”

“I'm Sage, I was born in SLC and was raised here. I'm a physics student at the U of U. I am a musician and recently released my debut album and am working on another. My album is called Red Sun. I do not identify with any given gender, my pronouns are any, but most people go with he/him. I in high school just gradually asked myself questions about my own gender and I still ask those questions.”

@ghaws @caecelia.b so glad this group of friends found each other. We all need our people that love us exactly as we are.

Friends, here’s to hoping you find yours.
