Team Shoutout 🎬✨

Meet Adriana Sabau, our brilliant On-set Editor/DIT for Follow the Dark! 💻✨

@adriana_pusha somehow survived the director’s constant stream of “just one more thing” requests (we’re still not sure how 👀) and kept everything running smoothly. She worked at lightning speed to organize and edit on set, making sure we had every shot we needed and that everything looked fantastic.

Beyond Follow the Dark, Adriana is a Brighton/London-based Assistant Editor whose work spans music videos, promos, short films, and an indie documentary screened at festivals. She’s been passionate about storytelling since her early days filming gigs for local TV in her hometown, and today she edits commercials, reels, and shorts for independent creators, while also working as an Assistant Editor on feature films.

We’re so grateful to have had her sharp eye and steady hand on the team! 🙌 If you're looking for an editor for your next project, look no further!

“It’s your body, do what you want with it—and Contact will get you jobs based on you—and who you are. Not this idea of who you should be.” Knives, non-binary model and full-time freelancer comments on their experience of joining Contact.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We spoke to Knives for #pridemonth about their work as a model, set designer and artist. Their work continues to inspire us as they comment on the fact that we should focus more on queer joy, rather than ask queer people to bring up their trauma to market them as part of pride campaigns.

I want to say a big thank you to @contact.creatives for the most incredible experience over my time here. I was empowered to be able to give creatives the respect and support they deserve.

With a lot of love, and a lot of learning, it's time to take the next steps on my journey.

The biggest thank you to @reub_selby @shnnonknnedy @kirstymclachlan @al.bowers_ @bolubello and the whole team, and the most wonderful talent, who have all helped make Contact the most meaningful place to me.
