Hair salon founder. Last night was one for the books.

I spent the day deep in a laptop hole. Looked up at 6pm and had exactly 40 minutes until I needed to be awards night ready. @olaplex had sent me an emergency get ready kit and I am now convinced they are psychic.

Eye patches that I was praying would not bring me out in a rash. Purple teeth whitening strips seven minutes before my taxi. A red light bathroom @olaplex Shape Set top up mid awards because that slick backed bob was not going anywhere. This is what awards night really looks like from the inside.

@creativeheadmag announced @samanthacusicklondon Liverpool Street as New Space of the Year. I have a video of my face waiting for the result. I was thought I absolutely fine about it. The video disagrees.

Honestly I am so grateful. To @creativeheadmag for this recognition. To every client who has walked through the Liverpool Street doors since we opened. And to the most incredible team who show up every single day and make SCL what it is. This one genuinely means everything.

I accepted the award in a dress covered in crystals that weighed approximately the same as a small child and was genuinely challenging to walk in. Every single heavy sparkly step was worth it.

Ten years. Four salons. One completely chaotic but somehow perfect awards night. This award belongs to every person on the SCL team who built Liverpool Street into something worth celebrating. 🏆🤍

✨ Soho House Festival 2026 ✨

What an incredible day with the amazing team at Samantha Cusick! 💛

We spent the day in our own festival tent creating gorgeous festival hair, adding lots of hair tinsel, styling beautiful looks, and meeting so many lovely people. We couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere!

The most beautiful, kitted out tent @seraitent 😍💐♥️

Delicious food, refreshing drinks, amazing music ( @basement_jaxx absolutely delivered! 🎶), and the perfect way to finish the day celebrating together with the team.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent, and to our styling favourites @ghdhair and @olaplex for helping us create all the festival magic. ✨
