SETTLEMENT DAY FOR LAUREN!

So stoked for my client Lauren on her settlement in West Germantown today. We met through my dear friend and our mutual hairstylist @light.rae during a haircut Lauren was talking about buying a house after her landlord raised the rent, and Rae gave her my number. We pinpointed NW Philly since it was right between work in North Wales and her partners house in West Philly. We had a false start once and had to terminate but we pressed in! Found Lauren a cute house with a yard and finished basement near the train and Weavers Way. There’s a garage behind her house that is softly playing the radio 24/7 so this house already has deep lore. She pulled up with a @ghostbongo sticker on her car so you know she knows what’s up 😎

Funny story: early on she let me know she had been getting rabies shots since she had a bat exposure and not to worry, as she wasn’t contagious but wanted to give me a heads up. I was like “woah so weird” but then lo and behold I had a bat exposure shortly thereafter so we were both going through rabies treatment at the same time. NOW THATS A FIRST!

Lauren, thank you for trusting me, I’m so excited to see what you do with the place once you get settled with all your art, home goods and antiques. Gonna be awesome! ENJOY ☺️

From panels, gala, my partner being part of the banquet, my frands being on a panel, seeing more friends and catching up, flight canceled - 4am bus rides home to work in Tuesday. Convention was a blast but the travel home was ass.
