JT: And here’s my top 20 of 2020. Some overlap with Matt but plenty of difference between us. Matt may have done more listening but my list is better.

Here is the list:

20. Porridge Radio – Every Bad
19. Against All Logic – 2017-2019
18. Bananagun – True Story of Bananagun
17. Kali Uchis – Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios)
16. Keleketla! & Coldcut – Keleketla!
15. Ghost Bumps – All Manner of Manors
14. Sufjan Stevens – The Ascension
13. Mildlife – Automatic
12. Roisin Murphy – Roisin Machine
11. RAP Ferreira – Purple Moonlight Pages
10. Fleet Foxes – Shore
9. Avalanches – We Will Always Love You
8. Tkay Maidza – Last year was weird, vol. 2 [EP]
7. Sault – Untitled (Rise)
6. Jessie Ware – Whats your pleasure
5. The Strokes – New Abnormal
4. Gorillaz – Song Machine
3. Fiona Apple – Fetch the Bolt Cutters
2. Yves Tumor – Heaven to a Tortured Mind
1. Run the Jewels - RTJ4

If you haven’t listened to some of these, I’d recommend giving them a go!

Also, it’s been lots of fun recommending and reviewing tunes this year. Hopefully we’ve been able to boost your Apple Music (or Spotify) library in some way. Hoping to stay somewhat active on the page this year but it will probably involve more recommendations and less reviews from me.
Well done on getting through 2020, hope 2021 brings good things for all of you.

Mood: lots of different moods in this list. mood.

Over iso, my friends, housemates Tim, Max and Gabe formed Ghost Bumps and recorded an album. It’s brilliant. I’m playing drums on The Lobster and my fave Sorry Pete, inspired by a confused boomer we encountered in a Billy Hyde comment section. Have a little look at these covers I did too. Swipe for a listen, and head to Spotify or (even better) ghostbumps.bandcamp.com for the real thing. Lotsa love!

Howdy! Me and my housemates that make up the @ghostbumpsoooscary gang have got our debut album 'ALL MANNER OF MANORS' coming out this Friday and I'm real proud of what we put together. It was written and recorded in the first lockdown, and as a result it is drenched in the sort of absurdity found in becoming more acquainted than ever with your own home.

The intro to the album is called 'Welcome Home' and it features a contribution from a whole bunch of real good mates, so I wanted to put this lil animation together to say a huge thank you to all of you and I hope you have a good giggle when you hear it on the album ☺️

Thank you...
