@momnemcoffee first ever Summer Classic Latte Art Throwdown was INSANE!! ☕️🔥

The best crowd showed up on a Friday night & the 32 competitors brought the heat!

Our first place winner, Faith, is from @royalflamingocoffee & consistently poured insane Rosetta’s ! Even when battling for the title against her husband, she persisted & took home the new @fellowproducts espresso machine 👏🏼
Our second place winner, Cris, is from @redtreecoffeeandart . He’s the king of latte art 👑 I always order a hot latte (for here) when he’s behind the bar at RedTree 🔥🔥

Thank you @momnemcoffee for hosting the best latte art competition & inviting me to be a judge. I loved every second of it 🤎🤎

5+ years of latte art and i fear i have become a milk pitcher snob.

@slowpoursupply spent years designing and patenting the Kimera and honestly… i get it.

very cute. (it’s pink?!) very functional. very dangerous … because i might just level up - Faith Leach

Been missing this kind of thing ☕️🤎

After taking a bit of a pause from community events, hobbies, and just being around people this past year, it felt so good to finally get back out there. Good coffee, good people, a little friendly competition, and the kind of community I’ve really missed.

Big thank you to Mom ’n ’Em Coffee for hosting such a fun throwdown and giving me an excuse to dust off the hobby again. 🫶

Here’s to getting back into the rhythm. ☕️✨

SPICE JAM tastes like a spiced maple latte, but it’s not a spiced maple latte.

The trick to this magic? Fenugreek seeds! When toasted and steeped in a rich brown sugar syrup, fenugreek has this uncanny ability to taste exactly like maple syrup, but without the extra sticky sweetness (aka, they make for a great flavor-to-sweetness balance). We round out the syrup with a little cardamom, coriander, clove, and nutmeg for some extra warmth. Layer that with our new Fall Guy espresso (think notes of chocolate and sweet rosemary). And then finish w/ some black sea salt.

Snag those Cherry Lightning lattes while you can people! We’re working on some new summer coffees & drinks (woot!), but that sadly means saying goodbye to our early summer menu. So if you’ve been meaning to roll thru to try it, roll thru sooner than later!
