May + April flashbacks ☆ Here is your summer color palette : lime, orange, raspberry + strawberry

Coming out of winter hibernation was extremely difficult this year. I need to make some moves but those moves can't be made until I get moving... Seriously !! If I don't change, nothing will change.

So that's the summer mantra •̀.̫•́✧ more creativity. More drawing, writing, painting, creating. More moving. More hiking, swimming, biking. More irl and less living life through the phone lens.

Exactly one week into 32 and it's already been a doozey. Pisces season never fails to challenge me.

Despite the lows and the cruelty of the world I promised myself to stay dreamy and delusional, to exude empathy and compassion, to approach everyone with kindness and curiosity. I'm truly looking forward to the new experiences, faces + friends and all the creative projects my 32nd year will bring. Be them good, bad or grey. I will only grow.

Here's my monthly update:
I didn’t do well in my no-buy January BUT I’m simultaneously still working through my closet cleaning out pieces I’ve had and haven’t worn or worn once.

The couple pieces I did buy were all intentional and mostly sweaters/cardigans. I’ve been phasing out all synthetic materials and anything that is uncomfortable against my skin. So they filled a hole in my wardrobe while fitting in with my general color palette.

First month of 2026 was filled with lots of time around my sewing machine. I altered the waist of some Afend pants and now feel completely unstoppable when it comes to clothes and comfort. Being able to alter clothing to fit your body is a powerful skill that everyone should learn.

One of my personal goals is making my own clothes and a good pair of trousers might be my first more complicated attempt. Send me pattern recommendations!!

Website is being reworked again (ʘ‿ʘ) nothing feels right yet and I’m brainstorming animation ideas to add.

I haven’t done any drawing or painting this month which has bummed me out so I’ll make sure to prioritize both for February ☆ミ
