I’ve always liked the American approach to Ivy style: practical, unfussy, and built around things you can wear for years. Ghurka has a similar philosophy. Founded in 1975, the brand took inspiration from vintage military gear and built its reputation on leather bags with a distinctly utilitarian character. The Examiner No. 5 is a good example. I particularly like the walnut leather, brass hardware, and those generous front pockets. For the 2026 Crewe Cup, we partnered with @ghurka and @bettinardigolf on a collaboration rooted in craftsmanship, camaraderie, and giving back. Ostrich leather connected the Ghurka duffel and Bettinardi headcover, with the design story carried through to the putter itself. From feather detailing on the clubface to the iconic Bettinardi Fat Cat chasing “big birdies,” every detail was a thoughtful nod to the collaboration. From pieces created for the players to the limited release, the partnership carried the spirit of the Crewe Cup beyond the event itself, with a portion of sales supporting charitable causes.
