Cinematic instrumental rock/metal from Kuantan, blending soaring melodies with emotive crescendos #kitaghuu 👊
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: GHÜU. From Kuantan, ghüu. builds worlds without words. Rooted in instrumental rock and post-metal, ghüu. explores the space between restraint and intensity, weaving soaring melodies, atmospheric passages and crushing guitar-driven crescendos into a sound that unfolds like a soundtrack to something yet to be seen. Their debut demo, akür/engkär, released in November 2024, offers a glimpse into the band's sonic language — moving between hazy, spacious passages and heavier, distortion-laden sections. Recorded, mixed and mastered independently, the release captures a band embracing rawness and atmosphere in equal measure. On 14 November 2026, ghüu. brings its instrumental intensity to Johor Bahru for THE ONLY MOMENT WE WERE ALONE VOL. 7, sharing the stage with Dirgahayu, Ghost Stereo Transmission and Chrysanthemum. Four bands. Different sonic landscapes. One night dedicated to music that rewards being heard loud and experienced together. Embrace Hall, Johor Bahru Saturday, 14 November 2026 Doors open at 8 PM Early Bird RM45 | Presale RM55 | Door RM65 Get your tickets at https://embracehall.ubertickets.asia Presented by Embrace Hall × Wornpath Booking × Stereo Silence Records.

some people seem to think local gigs are very expensive, but they’re about S$20-30 a show which we think is a little below market rate for musicians to earn a living 😕 we've never needed to charge exorbitant prices because music is something we continue to do for fun on the side, we just can’t lower them any further than that because we can only organise a few gigs every year
