After such a smashing success at the premiere, we are back on stage today and I couldn’t be happier to dive into this world once again.

I feel incredibly grateful to the theatre, to Maestro @stefanopoda and @paologianicei, and to every single person behind and on stage who has made this experience so special. What we have created together goes far beyond the work itself: an atmosphere of creativity, mutual respect, great humour and, above all, so much fun. It is a true joy to be part of this team — and I can honestly say that I love them all.❤️

The more I live with Macbeth, the more I see it as a reflection of the ancient Gnostic understanding of the human being: one consciousness, yet divided between opposing forces.

Within each of us exist the feminine principle of desire, imagination and creation, and the masculine principle of action, manifestation and will. One conceives; the other gives form. Neither is complete without the other.

Perhaps the tragedy of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth is therefore not only their story. It is the story of all of us — one being, constantly navigating the two forces within.

The true harmony lies not in one overcoming the other, but in their union: desire and action, creation and manifestation, existing in balance as two expressions of the same whole.

Tonight, we return to Macbeth for our third performance at @operaliege.

Scegliere il proprio repertorio, per un cantante lirico, non è mai semplice. Capire quali siano i ruoli più adatti alla propria voce, alla propria personalità e al proprio momento artistico può essere una delle scelte più delicate di questo percorso.

Ma come si riconosce davvero un ruolo “giusto”?

Ce lo racconta il giovane soprano Martina Russomanno, attualmente impegnata al Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, condividendo il suo personale modo di avvicinarsi alla scelta del repertorio e dei personaggi da interpretare.

Un tema fondamentale per ogni cantante: conoscere la propria voce, rispettarne i tempi e costruire il proprio percorso con consapevolezza.
