Delighted to announce our latest tribute ....She is every woman .....the Greatest love of all ! @giannacapanni will be playing the role of Whitney Houston. This is such exciting news! Huge congratulations to Gianna on landing the role of Whitney. Stepping into the shoes of "The Voice" is no small feat, making waves with the LM Whitney tribute and the Divas team. The "buzz" is definitely real—especially with the iconic costume reveal. Finalizing the Bodyguard and Powerhouse Ballad looks is such a huge milestone; those outfits are just as legendary as the songs themselves. It’s clear that LM has found a real star in Gianna. Bringing her into the Divas team alongside the Whitney tribute- there’s nothing quite like a live performance that can jump from the raw emotion of the 90s ballads to the high-energy 80s anthems we all know and love. The Debut Details: One Last Look For those heading to the Yotel Edinburgh tomorrow (Saturday, April 25, 2026), here’s what to prepare for: The Setlist: Expect a journey from "Queen of the Night" and "I Will Always Love You" to dance-floor fillers like "How Will I Know" and the 2000s hit "Million Dollar Bill." The Vibe: High-gloss production, authentic costumes, and those "blow your world away" vocals. The Buzz: Keep an eye on the LM social channels tomorrow for the brand-new promo material and a "sneak peek" behind the curtain. ......she’s more than ready to "Step by Step" into this role and own that stage. Wishing Gianna best of luck on her Whitney Debut. BREAK A LEG ....QUEEN OF THE NIGHT !

📣 DRIVE DUOS: STARRING GIANNA CAPANNI & ROSS MCKINNON 📣 Ross and Gianna have known each other forever. The first time they performed on stage together Ross played Giannas dad in their stage schools Christmas musical. From them on they appeared in numerous productions together. Years after graduating Ross got the opportunity to work with Gianna in various productions as her director, an experience they both valued. Gianna and Ross might be from different generations but one thing they have always had in common is their love and passion for all things musical theatre and they can’t wait to perform some of their favourite songs together. We broke 100 streams! Baby steps, but from being unceremoniously dumped by my first collaborator back in 2012 and deciding to force myself to learn to write music, to grad school, to a micro viral TikTok minute, to streaming platforms and all the cool stops along the way - I’m pretty fucking proud of it all and eternally fucking grateful to all my collaborators since who’ve made these things possible. Pwease keep listening and sharing folks - plenty more to come 🧡

FINALLY managed to get this ridiculous talent round to record a number which was *literally* written for her. This is ‘You’, a number performed by the character Jean Armour from our piece, “A reply ‘fae the Lassies”. Performed and inspired by Gianni Capanni. Music and lyrics by me. Book by John Holding. Original direction by Shaaron Graham. Original music direction by Christopher Breckinridge.
