It’s an honor and a gas to be co-directing the Secrets & Shadows Historic Cemetery Tour this year with a small dream team: Tysha Noel, Cynthia Cruser, Steven Cruser, and Gabe Reyna.

The Cemetery Tour utilizes real actors portraying real historical figures, all within our beautiful cemetery.

We are swinging the bat this year. Playing with the form, while keeping it grounded in Lockhart’s history.

Thank you @hellolockhart for bringing this event back to life.

Mark your calendars! Ticket link coming soon.

What a gift to have had the opportunity to get the band back together to play one more show before Jeff and I moved away. Thank you @plumcreekrecordstx for putting this show together and helping our songs finally (!) get pressed to vinyl. Thank you for @pelvis_wrestley @l8ybugkilla @judsonjohnson @engage0o0with0o0jammy @chriscorbo714 @gianthornet for sharing your gifts with us. Thank you @lexi.venus for capturing this perfect night in the beautiful way that only you could.

I truly believe that this band saved my life. Writing these songs in my 20s gave me a way to process my trauma before I could afford to go to therapy, it led me to an amazing community of creatives and friends that became my family, and it has opened doors to new things that I would’ve never even known existed including my HUSBAND and the path we’ve found ourselves on now. The most important thing I’ve learned from my years playing music in Austin is this: go for the thing you want, even if you don’t know what the hell you’re doing.

Thank you all for showing up and making this one of the most magical nights of my life. ILY ❤️
