Catch Gib Manrique at PHX Zine Fest on September 27 at Rocket Space Gallery in Tempe!

"I represent myself as a writer above all else. My zines often consist of my own writing, whether that be essays, poetry or more abstract work, juxtaposed with the visuals I create. My visuals are used to amplify the writing, and are not the main point of the zines, but are still important. Communication and language are very important to me, and my goal with my writing is to connect with people reading it. I love to write and my words are the focal point in everything I create."
