BEHIND THE COLORS Pt. IV

With @kellynwilson's hard work done, the studio days wrapped, and new product now selling on the trewgear.com, the ultimate goal begins: getting these items into the hands of passionate skiers and riders for countless days of peak enjoyment on snow.

"It was such a special experience to be a part of this collection. I hope people have their best days ever skiing in these joyful colors. Maybe someone will be wearing one of these jackets when they finally try a new trick or ski a new run, or you’ll spot someone in the lift line also wearing the thumbs-up on their shoulder and know you’re in good company. As TREW says best themselves, 'Jump in our uptrack…we don’t mind spooning our tracks to make room for more.'

Reflecting on this year, I actually cannot believe we shot a wedding out of state, my first full year in full time wedding photography! Not only that, but in my favorite place in the world so far with my husband and for friends that I love. And even crazier that I shot a wedding in Omaha the day before and both couples were beyond happy with their experience.

I struggled alotttt leading up to this week tho, if I’m being honest! It took a lot of faith on my part that things wouldn’t go wrong. We had a whole backup plan to drive through the night just in case 😅 I rarely talked with people about it because I knew what they’d say “there’s too much risk with flights being delayed” “what if this happens..” etc. I decided that this was a BLESSING and that God would make everything work out, and guess what? He did.

It was a dream that I had in my heart for years and years to travel with the love of my life and take photos. It wasn’t specific to wedding photography, and I literally had no idea how to use a camera at that time. But it was there, a desire in my heart. And for that to be fulfilled this year is unreal. God really did that 😭 and I know that won’t be the last time!

All that to say, keep dreaming and keep believing it will happen, and if you find yourself in a position where you received a crazy blessing, keep the faith that ALL things will work out! Because I KNOW that it will, and the best is yet to come 🫶🏼
