My original song “Love You Bad” was featured at the Black and Bronze Fest this past weekend. Super honored to be a contribution to the great and rich history of Chicago Music. Specifically in Jazz Music. I wrote this song back in 2024. Co-produced by @dnaturalent and recorded in 2025. Here I am mixing the legendary organ of Richard Gibbs for a Felicia Patton and the Arrangements live record. It was recorded at @garcias_chicago and everything sounds so great.

I’m compressing the organ to grab some of the slides/denser chords to allow me to keep it loud at all times. The Hammond sound just does something to rewire my brain. It sounds like it’s weeping and wailing and whispering and whirling all while supporting everything else that is happening musically. It’s the kind of sound you feel as much as you hear it. And when it’s played by a master, you’ve got to make sure you feel AND hear it.
