This weekend the Left asserted its control over the streets of London, commemorating 78 years since the Nakba despite the attempted intimidation of the state and fascists. Some 250,000 marched through London on Saturday, facing down 50,000 nationalist thugs led by the orc Tommy Robinson. Alongside this, threats by the state of mass arrests and smearing protesters as "hate marchers" attempted to scare workers away from demonstrating. The people will not be cowed! New figures released by the Trade Union Congress this week show trade union membership on the UK rose by almost 200,000 last year, continuing a trend of strong membership growth in the public sector, where union density is approaching 70% and has now reached a 15 year high.
