More than you might think.

In the latest episode of Inside The Grove, we sit down with @gideon.horowitz , Regional Manager of bartaco, whose journey from aspiring actor and comedian to hospitality leader has helped shape one of Coconut Grove’s favorite gathering places.

A South Florida native, Gideon shares his childhood memories of the Grove, what it was like performing with the comedy troupe that would later become Impractical Jokers, and why the key to building a successful restaurant isn’t just great food—it’s creating genuine connections with the community.

✨ Dragon5 Spotlight ✨
Today we’re celebrating Peyton, one of our go-to morning servers at Bartaco Coconut Grove! Peyton has turned the lunch shift into something special… creating a loyal fan base that ranges from local high school students grabbing tacos after class to business professionals stopping in for a quick bite.
She knows guests by name, remembers their favorite orders, and always makes sure they leave smiling. Peyton embodies what the Dragon Five award is all about—incredible hospitality, guest engagement, and inspiring her teammates through her example.
Thank you, Peyton, for showing us how lasting memories can be created no matter the shift! #hospitality @bartacolife @princess.peyyy_ @cheflongash @gideon.horowitz

What started as a simple idea turned into something bigger than we could’ve imagined…
From Colorado to Connecticut, bartaco teams came together to walk, run, move, and connect—not just for physical wellness, but for mental clarity, team bonding, and a shared sense of purpose. Some of us had field days. Some of us walked. Some of us sprinted. But every single one of us showed up for each other.
Even our CEO, Anthony, laced up and joined in.
This video is a celebration of that unity… the energy… the joy… and the reminder that wellness is a journey we take together. The overwhelming response from our teams has already inspired us to dream even bigger—so yes, this will absolutely become an annual tradition. But even more than that, it’s sparked a movement. You can expect many more initiatives like this one—because when we support each other, there’s no limit to what we can do.
And of course—congratulations to our WillRunForTacos prize winners, randomly selected from those who participated across the country:
* Maria H. – Aventura
* John A. – Reston
* Angel D. – Coconut Grove
* Aidan T. – Stamford
* Laney J. – Hyde Park
Each of them chose from one of the following prizes: an Apple Watch, an Oura Ring, a 1-year Crunch gym membership, or a walking treadmill.
Thank you to everyone who made this happen. Let’s keep running toward something great… together.#willrunfortacosday #bartaco #bartacolife #bartacocareers #wellness
