POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

You can make all the right connections and still miss out on the opportunities those relationships could create.

Not because the conversation wasn’t great. Not because there wasn’t genuine interest.

But because what happens after you meet someone matters just as much as getting in the room in the first place.

Think about how much time, energy, and money we invest in networking, showing up at events, building visibility, and meeting the right people.

Then we exchange contact information, promise to stay in touch, and somehow that promising connection becomes another name in our phone. 😂

That’s exactly why I’m so excited about this Friday’s Women Already Connected Power Circle!

We’re welcoming Raema Mauriello, founder of Gifty Gal, for a conversation on:

The Business of Being Thoughtful: How Strategic Gifting Nurtures Relationships, Accelerates Trust & Creates Revenue.

And no, we’re not talking about sending everyone another branded tumbler. 😂

We’re talking about intentional, personalized gestures that show someone you were actually paying attention. That you remember what matters to them. That they’re more than another potential transaction.

Raema has seen a $35 invitation play a role in nurturing a relationship that ultimately generated $9 million in business over three years.

And approximately $150 in thoughtful gifting help nurture a relationship that became a $300,000 deal.

The gifts didn’t create that value on their own. The relationships did.

That’s the part I want more business owners to understand.

You don’t always need more leads, more events, or more people in your pipeline.

Sometimes you need to be more intentional with the relationships you’ve already worked so hard to build.

This Friday, October 23, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Tower Club Dallas, we’re going beyond the usual networking conversation to learn how to turn thoughtfulness into a real relationship-building strategy.

And because this is Power Circle, you can expect meaningful conversations with women who are just as intentional about how they grow.

Comment POWER and I’ll send you the details. 💛

This month’s @womenalreadyconnected Power Circle is about something we all say matters in business, but very few people are actually strategic about:

Relationships. More specifically, what you do AFTER you get in the room.

I’ve watched sales conversations that could have taken weeks online move forward in hours simply because I was face-to-face with someone.

You hear the nuance behind the question. You understand what they actually need. They experience you beyond your content, website, or perfectly crafted follow-up.

Trust forms differently in real human interaction.

But then you leave the room.

You exchanged information. There was genuine interest. You promised to stay connected.
And then life starts life-ing. 😂

Another event. Another inbox. Another 47 people competing for their attention.

Suddenly, a relationship with real potential becomes another name sitting in your CRM.

That’s the conversation we’re having at this month’s Women Already Connected Power Circle.

On October 23rd, Raema Mauriello, founder of Gifty Gal @gifty.gal , is teaching us how strategic, highly personalized gifting can help nurture prospects, deepen relationships, and create movement toward opportunities.

And no, we’re not talking about sending everyone the same branded tumbler. 😂

Raema @raemam has seen a $35 invitation become a strategic touchpoint in a relationship that ultimately generated $9M in business over three years.

She’s also seen approximately $150 in intentional gifting help nurture a relationship that ultimately resulted in a $300K deal.

The gift wasn’t worth millions.

The relationship was.

Because thoughtful follow-up says something another “just circling back” email never will:

I listened. I remembered. I see you.

This month, we’re learning how to stay meaningfully top of mind and get a greater return from the networking, prospecting, referrals, and conversations we’re already investing in.

Because maybe you don’t need more prospects.

Maybe you need a better strategy for nurturing the right ones.

Comment POWER to save your seat at the table.

I used to think standing out meant doing something bigger.

Being louder. More impressive. More polished. Having the better strategy, the stronger positioning, the thing nobody else had thought of yet.

The more I step outside my comfort zone and get in rooms that stretch me, the more I realize it’s almost the opposite.

Standing out often comes from being willing to be more fully yourself in rooms where it would be easier to become like everyone else.

And that sounds simple until you’re actually in the room.

Until everyone else seems to speak the same language.

Until there’s an unspoken version of what success is supposed to look like.

Until you start wondering whether the parts of you that don’t quite fit would be better softened, edited, or left outside.

I’ve done that.

I’ve walked into rooms and unconsciously started adjusting.

And every time I’ve tried to become more palatable, more expected, or more like what was already working for someone else, I’ve become less powerful, not more.

Because you cannot differentiate yourself while simultaneously trying to disappear into the crowd.

This has been one of the biggest reflections from my Called to Lead experience.

Maybe God didn’t make you different so you could spend your life figuring out how to fit in.

Maybe the way you think differently, lead differently, communicate differently, build differently, or see what other people miss is part of the assignment.

And maybe leadership isn’t asking you to become more like the people already in the room.

Maybe you were called into the room because it needed someone like you.

So yes, learn from people. Let yourself be challenged. Grow. Refine. Become better.

But don’t confuse growth with becoming more like everyone else.

The crowded rooms don’t need another copy.

They need the version of you who finally stopped apologizing for being different.

There’s something different about being in a room full of women who are building big things without believing they have to sacrifice what matters most to do it.

Faith. Family. Values. Purpose.

Called to Lead was a reminder that God can be at the foundation of the business AND there can still be ambition.

That wanting to grow, lead, create impact, and build something meaningful isn’t something we have to shrink or apologize for.

We talked about normalizing failure as part of the journey. About letting go of the idea that every setback means we’re on the wrong path.

And about redefining what it means to be “called.”

Maybe calling isn’t one specific thing we’re supposed to figure out perfectly.

Maybe it evolves as we do.

I’m leaving Called to Lead grateful for the conversations, the connections, and the reminder that we can build businesses that honor our faith, our families, our values, and the vision God has placed on our hearts.

We don’t have to choose between purpose and ambition.

We can build from both. 🤍

These leather journals were made for a private label client… @gifty.gal from concept to finished product. 🤩🖤

A lot of decisions, problem-solving, samples, tweaks and tiny details happen before you ever see the final piece.

And honestly? We love that part.

A lot of this year was spent flying back and forth to Nashville planning and bringing this multi-day conference to life.
So grateful for the opportunity to work alongside some of the best in the industry and truly some of the BEST staff anyone could ask for. There’s nothing quite like watching months of planning turn into a few unforgettable days.

And somewhere between the production schedules, vendor meetings, and early mornings, I got to experience a little bit of Dolly’s world 🦋 and the incredible impact she’s had on Nashville. Grateful for the opportunity, the people, and that I get to do what I love. More of the details coming soon on PTE’s page. 🤍 @perfectlytimedevents
