Fresh Hop 2026: Gigantic’s Sodbuster Simcoezilla Fresh Hop IPA features fresh Simcoe from Lakeside Ranches in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. It was canned on 9/14/2026, and weighs in at 6.2% ABV. Last of the cans brought home from Portland. Sad face.

19. Sodbusted Simcoezilla FH IPA pours an orange-ish copper with an ivory head, and has a pithy orange marmalade and tangerine nose balanced by light dank resin, cedar, and creamsicle creaminess. Flavors open with a bright juicy orange resin punch that transitions into an equally punchy grimy dank pine grassy pithiness. There is a sweet lemon citrus pop in the swallow, followed by delightful lingering grimy resin bitterness that is also slightly scratchy. Flavors are dialed up way more than the nose indicated, and I am here for both the intensity and the surprise of that fresh hop sucker punch. Grime-alicious.
