🍝✨ Maybe what I love most about pasta is not the pasta itself.

The joy. The memories. The way something so simple can carry so much feeling. 💛

Last week I cooked at Milan Design Week as part of @ikeaitalia’s Food for Thought — where designers and chefs explored how design shapes the way we cook, eat and connect.

@lydiaaachan and I were given the kitchen space. Seen through the eyes of a child.

That’s how Joy in Scribble was born. A small pasta parcel full of play, colour and curiosity. No rules. No perfection. Just joy.

Watching people taste it and find something of their own story in it — that was joy to me.

Thank you @ikea for this experience and creative duo to co-create a Girl’s Dinner during Milan Design Week.

The menu: dzikilpak with tostadas, carrot tacos with mole and aged cheese, and chocolate with salsa macha and whipped cream.

Set in a living room inspired by some of the creators behind these dishes: Mexican Baroque nuns.

Thank you to everyone who came to Food for Thought and was part of it.
