When a drag queen sits down at your table and starts recommending what to order, you know you’ve arrived somewhere that’s a little more than just a restaurant 💃🍷
Gila & Nancy, named after Gila Goldstein and Nancy Schneider, two pioneering figures in Israel’s trans community, is located at the Play Hotel on Levontin and feels somewhere between a restaurant, cabaret and a very fun night out 🤩 the food is by Eyal Shani, while drag performances take over the space every hour, and now all that fun starts even earlier with a weekend brunch 😍
In the reel you’ll see their yellowtail sashimi, fried calamari, a plate of fries (some of the best we’ve had), panzanella salad, egg-in-a-hole grilled cheese, roast beef carpaccio, Burgersteak & Eggs, Basque cheesecake for dessert, and for drinks we had the Pink and Fluffy, French Spritz and Cosmopolitan 🍸
