🕰️13 YEARS AGO, HOLLYWOOD RELEASED A MASTERPIECE AND AMERICA CHOSE TO BURY IT.

🎬THE LONE RANGER (2013) is not just a western.🤠👢
🌟It's a Cinematic Masterpiece.

📽️Gore Verbinski gave us everything: Johnny Depp as Tonto with a performance that is pure soul, Armie Hammer's perfect arc from idealist to legend, Hans Zimmer's score that shakes your chest, and action sequences that are still unmatched today — that final train chase? Pure cinema history.

✍🏻Why did it flop in theaters? Simple.

📜This film had the courage to tell the truth that the U.S. never wanted to see on the big screen: the genocide of the Native Americans, the betrayal of treaties, the greed of the railroads, the massacre of Indigenous and Latino peoples for profit. It showed the real villains weren't the "savages", but the empire in suits. And America wasn't ready to face its own mirror.

🗣️They called it a failure. But failures don't endure. Masterpieces do.

⏳13 years later, THE LONE RANGER is still here. More relevant, more powerful, and more necessary than ever. A timeless gem they tried to hide.

Happy Indigenous Peoples Day!
(I know I’m a day late, but a day isn’t enough anyway.😊)

I am of proud Lipan Apache heritage and have been honored to be named by my brothers in the Blackfoot Nation. I have also been blessed to have spent time with the great 6 Nations of Ontario and the Northeast.

To all my brothers and sisters, Sil n’ zhoo.
