@worldlyricaldancefederation World Championships 2025.
A week later I’m still totally overwhelmed by the talent I was so lucky to witness over 4 days last weekend! Every performer who came on stage from the U/6’s to the Pro/Am’s were exceptional. As always I was so honoured to be on the panel getting to see the hard work and dedication you all have given to your passion over the last year!
One of the duos lyrics went as follows: ‘the common entity that unites us is rhythm.’ I have stayed untied with my dance friends throughout my life, my 5 bridesmaids all having become my friends through dance. Last weekend I was surrounded by my own wonderful dance family both old and new on the panels and within the WLDF team. It is such a special occasion and one I am very grateful and honoured to be asked to judge at.
A huge thank you to all involved in last weekend from the person who sewed the first stitch into a leotard to the person who turned off the lights on the stage on Sunday night and everyone in between, with special mention to @onestepaheaddance who has become not only the most gorgeous person to work with but a true true friend and finally to @alanhealy1967 who makes the magic all happen!
Congratulations to every dancer - honestly you were all winners!
Thanks so much for having me! Love you all! Can’t wait to see you all back in Scotland next year and South Africa in 2027!

So I’m doing my thing at Scottish Wedding show & this wee smasher rocks up and says ‘Hi Tracey🩷’ its been over 30years but felt like yesterday, such an emotional but special moment, still pinching myself, our other Young Sensation sister Debbie McGinley home from New York and just happened to bump into me then surprised the rest of the girls by turning up to DLOs birthday 🩷 these are Debbie’s words and so true that I had to share 🩷 After 30 years... rhythm takes over, and muscle memory kicks in. We move in sync, just like we always did, as if the years never stretched between us. The laughter comes easy, the joy is effortless. Maybe our knees protest a little more, and maybe we don’t dip quite as low, but the feeling? The magic? It’s all still there.

Time has a funny way of standing still in moments like these. The music, the energy, the connection it’s as if we never left the dance floor🩷 #dancingfamily #bff #specialbond #sistersquad #makingmemories #lifelongfriends
