A project I was given when studying for a BA was to illustrate a Shakespeare Sonnet. This is me many moons ago. I then realised I had made a portrait of Jamie this way so I found a Sonnet I think goes with it. Inspired by his playing Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Sam being my muse.

One thing crossed off my bucket list and now I have another to replace it. A visit to Sam’s distillery in Galloway. Vodka is now added to the Sassenach collection. I went online and signed up yesterday.

Thank you!! Artist Vicky Gilmour 👏

I was in the gods. So sorry it isn’t better. A few moments from Monday nights showing of #Macbeth for those unable to see it here at Stratford on Avon. It was amazing. Can’t help feeling one day it will be filmed.
