yessss we tripped, and fell, and we rolled down that grassy hill

thanks for keeping us on our toes @weatherchannel @headtripindio

there’s a strange resistance that seems to sit right behind the invitation to participate

true presence disguises itself as self abandonment

who I think I am gets threatened and jeopardized by the impulse that I can become formless in a single instant

participating obliterates the separation between me & the happening

to be in it I cannot think about it
I cannot try to get there because it just is

just windows of grace that my persistence waits on

and thoughts about me are just the reeds I snag at the edge of the dance floor

I’m absolutely not who I think I am
cause thinking doesn’t get me there

Ein bisschen Heimat in LA 🙌🏼🇩🇪 @klangkuenstler delivered a great light show and energetic set - for five hours straight. 🤯

Awesome crowd at the Forum. Very happy I decided last minute to commit 🤌🏼 I needed to dance for a few hours after Burning Man being a dud in that department this year. (@_mayanwarrior_ please come back next year 🫶)

One of the best parts of Burning Man is the people you cross paths with.

Got to spend some time at Media Mecca with a bunch of creators I’ve followed and connected with over the years. It was great finally meeting some of them in person. Wish I’d had more time with a few, but that’s the way it goes out there.

This was also one of the dustiest days on the playa this year. Watching this back, I can’t believe how much dust you can literally see caked on my ears. Probably explains why I’m still having trouble hearing weeks later. Everything still sounds like I’m underwater.

From there, we made our way over to Dustfish for what is the best bowl of pho on the playa, made fresh for Burn week.

Good people, hot pho, and a whole lot of dust. #burningman #burningmanfashion

[2/2] “So one more time, what the h*ll is burning man?”🔥

It starts with 10 fundamental principles:

• Immediacy - your brain will be overstimulated and you won’t get to experience it all anyway, so you may as well be fully in the moment, and enjoy the JOMO (Joy Of Missing Out) - many people I met hadn’t taken their phone out for the week… 2025 Luxury.

• Gifting - not to be confused with “exchange” - a genuine gift doesn’t ask for anything in return - it’s about passing it on.

• Radical self-reliance - you don’t just show up to parties, you enter the night ready for dust storms, cold, heat and anything Nature will throw at you. The contrast helps multiply the joy!

• Radical self-expression - pictures will speak for themselves :)

• Participation - It’s end to end built and deconstructed by the Burners

• Decommodification - no $, sponsoring, advertising or transactions whatsoever

• Leaving No Trace - arriving on a dustry powder desert, leaving the exact same behind

• Radical Inclusion - bet you could have guessed that one!

• Communal Effort - shared bathroom are the worst part of it though 😀

• & Civic Responsibility - you know, these last 2 differentiate the joyful chaos from hellish anarchy…

Truth is beyond these principles, art, music, mountains, dusty horizon and mesmerizing light - it’s the Burners who embody and enable the Magic to happen.

Some are here to heal, others to liberate, revive, inspire or be inspired… each brings a unique story you’d want to make a movie about.
Some have many followers true, but most don’t despite popular belief, and all have something to share beyond the surface.

At the end “The Playa (and its Burners) will provide”

You won’t look for it, but you will find that healing Mentor to guide your first nights in the desert, that sunrise Lover lighting up your heart like you didn’t know was still possible, a Chateau Mouton Rothschild 2007 glass at 6am in a French Bistrot, … the list goes on.

Yea, it’s deep my friend, and until next year:
“I can’t wait to be back home”

🙏🔥❤️

Burning man 2025

Crazy 50+ mph wind storm to start, followed by rain and heavier rain for a few days. Then everything dried up and the rest was a blast.
