Our bodies hold so much wisdom, yet so often, we suppress their expression because we haven’t learned how to hold space for uncomfortable emotions without immediately trying to fix, change, or make sense of them. This song holds a special place in my heart. It brings back memories tearing up watching @gilthegrid dance to this in Melbourne last year. Later, when it was our turn to dance to this same song after Gil, I experienced a breakthrough, crying whilst dancing, and for the first time, I allowed myself to move messily, with all my raw, unfiltered emotions. Then at Bali zouk marathon, this song surprisingly came up and I solo danced to it, feeling so much gratitude for what @amenti.world had taught me and transformed the way I approach dance, and life itself. Recently, my body spontaneously felt called to dance to this song again. To be completely honest, I had no idea what my body was remembering or what wanted to be expressed. But I didn’t feel the need to figure it out this time. I simply let myself be with whatever arose, holding space for my body to express as much or as little as it wanted to. Halfway through, I noticed a part of me wanting to tap out, to stop and step away from whatever was unfolding. But this time, I made a conscious choice to stay. Not to force anything but to remain present with myself for a little longer. Movement for me looks and feels different every single day. Our bodies are constantly communicating with us, sometimes in ways that our minds can’t immediately understand. We don’t always need to know why something is happening or what it means. Sometimes, we just need to give our bodies the permission to speak without needing to understand or change what comes up. It’s so fascinating to me what our bodies reveal when we meet them with curiosity instead of judgment, presence instead of resistance, and compassion instead of the urge to fix. 🎵 Without You @lapaluxmusic

You can ask for what you want or need, knowing you won't hurt or pressure them because they are able to say no and will do so if needed. ​The other way around, being able to say no and stick to your own boundaries is also powerful. Because when others can trust you that you will choose for yourself ,they can also be themselves. They don't have to question their actions or doubt them in fear that they will hurt you. The importance of Power. ​We love to talk about unity, community, and ascending into the heart space—yet none of it can exist without power. ​In our Layer System, the third center—Manipura—governs our fire and our sense of self. It marks the physical completion of the "I". Before we can genuinely build a bridge to a "we," you must first fully inhabit and claim the "I" that stands in the room. Yesterday in Madrid, we went deep into the connection between body, mind & soul with the incredible Amenti @amenti.world We explored how emotions get trapped when we don’t allow ourselves to feel them. How to bring them to the surface, move through them, and even trick our overthinking minds into finally letting go. Especially powerful for those of us who carry big responsibilities, live in our heads, or feel the constant need to be in control. In this fast-paced digital era, where everything pushes us to think faster, do more and stay connected 24/7, experiences like this remind us of something essential: To get out of our heads.
