Tag 14 Türkei-Tour Tekirdag-Istanbul 149km 08.07.2023 Es war ein sehr schöner Tag. Am Morgen direkt eine schöne Türkische Waschanlage ausprobiert und sauber Richtung Istanbul. Wie bereits erwähnt, einen netten Polizisten getroffen und dann zum Bosphorus gefahren. Endlich dieser Anblick. Ich war total überwältigt! 🥰☀️ Absolut happy. Dann ging es durch Istanbul und da war ich ein Gegenteil von happy... Ich kann nur sagen, dass das Fahren in Rom total entspannt ist im Vergleich zu Istanbul. Es gibt keine Regeln, jeder fährt wie er will und ziemlich aggressiv. Bis ich am Hotel angekommen war, bin ich sieben Tode gestorben und habe ein paar hundert Gebete abgelegt... Aber doch noch angekommen. Wenn man in der Türkei ist, muss man jemand kennen, sonst ist man verloren. Danke an @cemilwww für die tollen Gespräche und leckeres Essen. ☀️ Day 14 Turkey tour Tekirdag-Istanbul 149km July 8th, 2023 It was a very nice day. In the morning we tried out a nice Turkish car wash and headed straight to Istanbul. As mentioned, met a nice police officer and then drove to the Bosphorus. Finally this sight. I was totally overwhelmed! ☀️ Absolutely happy. Then we went through Istanbul and I was the opposite of happy... I can only say that driving in Rome is totally relaxed compared to Istanbul. There are no rules, everyone drives how they want and pretty aggressively. By the time I got to the hotel, I had died seven deaths and said a few hundred prayers... But I still got there. When you are in Turkey you have to know someone, otherwise you are lost. In Griechenland gibt es unheimlich viel Natur und Tiere. So eine Schildkröte sieht man öfters. Auf dem Olymlos hat es geregnet, auf dem Weg nach Thessaloniki schien die Sonne, aber in Tessaloniki selbst gab es Weltuntergang. So viel Regen auf einmal habe ich noch nie erlebt. Und das stundenlang bis nach Kalambaka. Von den Feldern kam plötzlich die Erde auf die Straßen gespült und man musste durch die braune Brühe fahren. Es war echt heftig. There is an incredible amount of nature and animals in Greece. You see a turtle like this quite often. It rained on Mount Olympus, the sun shone on the way to Thessaloniki, but in Tessaloniki itself it was the end of the world. I have never experienced so much rain at once. And that for hours all the way to Kalambaka. The earth suddenly washed out of the fields onto the roads and you had to drive through the brown broth. Es war ein sehr heißer Tag in Albanien kurz vor der Griechischen Grenze. Und wie es das Schicksal so wollte, war da wieder ein motorisierter Polizist. Und diesmal war die Polizeimaschine ziemlich klein, aber sehr agil. Eine total neue Erfahrung. Albanien ist und bleibt meine schönste Überraschung 2023. Tolle Menschen, super Straßen, mega Essen. Und klar, beste Polizei- Kollegen ever It was a very hot day in Albania just before the Greek border. And as fate would have it, there was another motorized police officer. And this time the police machine was quite small, but very agile. A totally new experience. Albania is and remains my best surprise in 2023. Great people, great streets, great food.
