Join us for a seven-course dinner for seven, hosted by @itsrubyaro and created in collaboration with @renai.rai and @simplespiritualityph ♥️

Throughout the evening, you can expect:
🍽️ A seven-course dinner by Chef Gin, currently at Flora Tea & Gin Bar
🔮 Tarot woven throughout the evening: a shared reading for each course + an individual reading for every guest to take home
🪢 Shibari woven through the space, with interactive elements at the table
📖 Guided storytelling by @rubyinvision

But more than anything, Sanctuary is a place to feel held. We believe what we surround ourselves with, food, music, art, and the company we keep, can shift something in us. Our hope is that you leave feeling more connected than when you've arrived.

And if you're tired, worried, overwhelmed, or simply in need of somewhere to land, come let us feed you.

Let this be a true sanctuary for an evening, a place to rest, to be nourished, to share a table with strangers who might become friends, and to remember that you don't have to carry everything alone.

For the weary traveler, come as you are. ♥️

Meet the people behind Sanctuary 🌸🕯️

On September 26, seven of us will gather around a table for an evening of food, story, tarot, shibari, music, and a little bit of magic.

Sanctuary is something we’re creating together, each of us bringing a different piece of the world to the table.

Ruby Aro @itsrubyaro — host, storyteller & creator of Sanctuary
Gin Gil @simplespiritualityph — chef & tarot reader
Renai Rai @renai.rai — shibari artist & spatial installation
Luna @claro.de.luna.ph — kitchen fairy & photographer

I wanted this evening to feel like stepping into a little world for a few hours, where we eat good food, share stories, and exchange a few laughs.

For the weary traveler, come as you are. ♥️

Meet Gin! 🍽️ 🔮

Chef Gin Gil brings two of her worlds to the table at Sanctuary: food and tarot. With a culinary background spanning Café Ysabel, The Westin Manila, ReCraft Bar, and Flora Tea & Gin Bar, Gin brings the creativity and craft of a professional chef to everything she makes.

But what makes her food special is how warm it feels. There is something almost life-giving about it; it's the kind of food you can tell was made with heart. It carries the creativity of a chef while still holding the warmth and comfort of something lovingly cooked at home.

Because food can do more than nourish us, it can comfort, connect, and heal. ♥️

Gin is also the founder of @simplespiritualityph, where she has been making tarot and spirituality more accessible since 2018.

For Sanctuary, Gin will be cooking seven courses and guiding us through tarot, with a shared reading woven through each course and a personal reading for every guest.

We’re very lucky to have her at our table. 🥹

I’ve been getting a lot of comments and questions since I posted about the Philippine Saturn return on election day. Instead of replying one by one, I deemed it more efficient to go live to discuss the Astrology of the 2022 Philippine Elections.
