Moving to Chicago is about to be one of the best experiences of my life, but I know it’s going to be really hard.

For the past 18 years of my life, I’ve lived in the same house, gone to the same Church, and even shopped at the same grocery store. I’ve only ever been kept afloat by the same friends.

From C3 to SOTA, Girl Scouts, and somehow even Kroger, I have lived my teenage years to their fullest alongside the most amazing people. I hope all of them know that no matter how far any of us go, we still have each other to depend on. All of them will still get my random 2am updates, be bombarded with Instagram reels, and be in my nightly prayers ❤️

To all of my friends and best friends reading this, I love you. Thank you so much for growing up with me ❤️

This week, I turned 18 while surrounded by my favorite people, headed to Chicago to hang out with my beautiful roommates, met both sides of Hayden’s incredibly sweet family from Iowa and Michigan, and then headed all the way home. I consider myself immensely blessed to experience the way my life is unfolding as of recently, and I’m more confident than ever that things are only getting better ❤️
