POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
How do you sum up everything that can happen in one year? ❤️

Today marks ONE YEAR since we opened the doors to Flourish Boutiques, and what a whirlwind this year has been.

But our story really begins before that.

Let’s go back to May 2024.

At the time, I owned my own small business, Beautifully Curated, inside another local marketplace. When the marketplace unexpectedly lost its lease and had to downsize, I suddenly found myself looking for a new home for Beautifully Curated, and wondering what the next chapter might look like.

Then I found this building.

I walked into an empty space and saw possibility. What started as searching for a new home for my own small business began to grow into a much bigger vision. I knew this space could become something special, but I don’t think I could have imagined everything it would eventually become.

Several of the other small businesses from that marketplace were facing the same uncertainty. Many had become friends, and I knew they would be a beautiful fit for the vision that was beginning to take shape.

There was a lot of prayer during that season…prayer over the decision, the vision, and even the name.

And eventually, Flourish Boutiques came. 🌿

The name held so much meaning for me. Biblically, to flourish speaks of being deeply rooted, growing strong, bearing fruit, and thriving. And by definition, flourish means to grow or develop in a healthy and vigorous way…to thrive.

It captured exactly what I hoped this place could be: a place where small businesses could grow and thrive, where our customers could feel welcomed and inspired and become friends, and where we could be part of an amazing community.

Then came all the hard work. ❤️

Construction delays. Deadlines that came and went. Tears…lots of tears…and lots of prayers. Very late nights and very early mornings. Exhaustion. My husband giving countless hours after already working a full-time job. So many people pouring themselves into this space and believing in what it could become.

There were days when opening those doors felt so far away.

And then, on August 29, 2025, we finally did. 🌿
