Final days of “summer”, back to school looming. 😵‍💫😵😢

Tomatoes seem to be taking up a lot of space… in all ways. Today, as salsa served with fresh eggs.
Last night, as soup. 😅

Calabacitas for dinner & breakfast, & ratatouille next.

Key lime pie on endless repeat.

The kittens are pure joy.

Sometimes we host & rescue toads from the pool. 🐸

Choty has a cat boyfriend, & we call him Wolfie. 🐈‍⬛

When asked tonight, “What’s for dinner?” the answer will be, “Deviled eggs, green beans & a tomato salad??!!” 😂 Girl dinner!!!

Four hens are now laying eggs. 🐓🥚

Thank you for all the birthday wishes in a year that was transformative; so many from afar & the so many in person.

I decided to celebrate this year at the Adam’s County Fair (amongst other celebrations) & I had to be talked into the rides the most. It turns out I am STILL afraid of heights. Holy Ferris wheel. 😭 I had farm animals on my mind when I planned it like the ones we snuggled with @denverlovegoats

My favorite sayings from the year…& most years with my newest listed first:

The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea.
Laissez le bons temps rouler
Joe de vivre
C’este La vie
Carpe Diem
Jesus Take the Wheel

Thank you to my dear friends. ☺️
& special thanks to the talented & loving photographers who followed us like paparazzi. 😅😘🤩
