30 years of life comes with a ton of thoughts and emotions.

A lot of it is reflection. A lot is stress, worry, and uncertainty. Also fear, doubt, and regret. It’s easy to approach this age and look back and find reasons to be dissatisfied. The loved ones I’ll never see again. The opportunities wasted. The “if I could do it over” and “what ifs” inevitably play in my mind.

But the more I reflect, the more I’m able to refocus my thoughts, and feel some beautiful emotions.

Gratitude comes to mind first. God gave me 30 years of life and lessons. Thankfulness. For all the prayers answered, and for the people and opportunities that have come into my life and shaped me to be who I am. Optimism. For the future I’ll create for myself with all that I’ve grown to know.

I thank God for the 30 years of life I’ve been blessed with, and hope to take all the years he gives me moving forward, and make them meaningful and impactful.

Grateful for life, grateful for love, grateful for lessons learned, & grateful for what’s to come. Here’s to another year of endless curiosity, appreciating the little things, and more lil forehead kisses from the universe.
