There’s something special about slowing down over a beautiful meal with the ones you love… 🍵 It’s interesting how we started out as IG 朋友s but became 好朋友 in reality 🫶🏾 An afternoon filled with endless laughters, wagging tails, and cute tiny moments @ginkyosg 🥹 While our 老妈s enjoyed Ochaji Teishoku a Japanese-inspired 9-course afternoon tea served in an elegant Shiraki box, we had our own lil catchup to exchange the latest neighbourhood gossip through sniffs 😝 I love this place because I enjoyed a fat piece of sashimi and “vapour tasted” the wagyu through 老妈’s lunch-flavoured breath and kizzez 💋 Thankew for the invite @twinkle_choc_chihuahua bro! 😎 Both our heart and stomach were full! Here’s to more slow lunches with my lala boyssss!! 🐾 #HojiTheDoxie #WeTheGoodestBoys

It’s elegant, playful and ridiculously Instagrammable!😘 Every small plate is an absolute feast for the taste buds and your camera roll. 📸 ✨snap! Say more? Ok:👌🏼 Start with Snow Crab flakes, Tobiko and home-made Century Egg Tofu. Make your way to Sea Bream (oh so delectable), Sashimi so fresh it melts, then the Wagyu Tataki centrepiece that just lingers for umami love, then to Truffle Tofu, Yasai confetti Kakiage and Ikura on sushi rice. Finally you have that oh-so-inviting seasonal Mochi paired with the rich medley of fresh strawberry on Ichigo Panna Cotta!🎉🥳 But the experience doesn’t stop at food. The relaxed Japanese-inspired dining spaces are gorgeous, cosy and keep you coming back for more. And if you are ready for more, go back for dinner! From their creative cocktail menu that’s so worth exploring to the equally satisfying signature favourites on the regular menu. Skip the usual café hopping and discover Ginkyō (geen-keo) by Kinki, where Japanese tradition meets modern flair. @ginkyosg newly launched Ochaji Teishoku ($68++) is available on Fridays & Sundays (2.30pm–5pm) and features: * 7 savoury Japanese-inspired dishes * 2 desserts Not your average afternoon tea and honestly, that’s what makes it memorable. The Sea Bream with Cherry Tomatoes was my standout for its clean, refreshing flavours. 📍One Holland V, Level 3 Save this for your next sundate or send it to your favourite brunch buddy. #singapore #hightea #weekend #japanese #igeats

[Ginkyō by Kinki] - Sat on the third floor of One Holland Village is Ginkyō by Kinki, a modern Japanese bistro featuring a menu that spotlights Japanese fusion creations using both Japanese and international ingredients. This concept is by the same team behind Kinki at Customs House. The restaurant has now launched a new experience, the Ochaji Teishoku, a Japanese-inspired Afternoon Tea available every Friday and Sunday from 2.30pm to 5pm. The 8-course experience is priced at $68 per set, served in an elegant wooden shiraki box. Unlike the usual afternoon teas built around a mix of sweet and savoury bites, Ginkyō’s rendition focuses on 7 savoury Japanese dishes and 2 types of desserts.
