Fun day at the Dojo! 125 C&J triple (!), 165 FS double, and a speedy 115 push press

Yep so didn’t lift at WSO’s, back flared up again 🙃

Been on that rehab/strength work grind, unglamorous but necessary. Finally got back on program two weeks ago and we’re pushing volume on classics hard.

Last Saturday, we held our first Women's Health Seminar here at IV. And it was a special day! Everyone showed up willing to learn, share, and be fully supportive of one another. We are so appreciative of the conversation, connection, laughter and tears.

JUST A FEW NOTES FROM ATTENDEES:
*there are a ton more!

--> "I genuinely enjoyed, and got something out of, all the sessions. And the meditation and lunch. It was ALL so good!! I loved that there was so much good information and that it didn’t feel like anyone was there to “advertise” but just helpfully share their expertise."

-- > "I loved Dr. Eurich's talk on perimenopause/hormone therapy and how to advocate within the traditional medical system. It was truly incredible to hear Nicole's fertility journey, too, very eye opening. I loved Dr. Lauryn's advice on highly effective and optimal movements for women. I loved Emily's presentation on pelvic floor therapy, too!"

--> "Absolutely inspired by Dr Eurich’s integrity and values as a physician."

--> "Nicole - I didn’t know what to expect, but your talk was so well done. So inspiring and courageous. In looking up one of the songs you shared, I discovered a new one. Good People by Mumford & Sons. I listened to it on repeat on my way to work this morning - still on a “high” from Saturday."

You have inspired us to explore more opportunities for events like this to continue these important conversations. Be on the lookout for more event info coming in early 2026.

Also, a special shout out to all the resources and vendors who joined us! So many great products, businesses and delicious food!

2024 American Open Finals was one heck of a meet!

There were big wins, learning moments and a whole lot of good weightlifting.

Our squad supported each other, had great sportsmanship and proudly represented our club on the national stage.

By the numbers:
🔹A 2nd, 3rd, two 4th and a 5th place finish
🔹6 medals (2 🥈, 4 🥉)
🔹8 PRs set
🔹7 New England records

@professor_purple was tremendous in the back, helping in every way to make sure our athletes were prepared. Our parents and partners cheered loudly from the front.

It was a complete team effort - it takes a village - and we have one of the best. Let’s carry this momentum into 2025 and continue to do great things y’all!

This group has been working hard and is ready to lift some big weights (and take in that warm AZ sun).

Tune in to cheer this group on via the pay per view link in our bio.

Good luck to all the competitors. LFG!

☺️Open House RECAP 🍩

THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by for our Barbells n’ Brunch event to celebrate our new space and club.

Being surrounded by lifters from the region, family and friends (and dogs!) made for a perfect Saturday! We are truly thankful to everyone who came by to train or hangout.

None of this would be possible without your support. We are stronger together and are committed to growing the sport of weightlifting in New England.

This is the first of many community events we hope to hold. Look out for a pre-WSO Championship tie dye party in the fall!

What an amazing two days with these professionals in Washington, DC.

I am truly so grateful to be able to share the LTAP™ with so many wonderful people.

These days to gather we cover a lot of ground and challenge some deeply held beliefs we have about the body, biomechanics, and what it means to truly work WITH the body instead of on the body.

I cannot wait to see what they will do with this work, with this new lens of view.

Have FOMO? There are just two more in-person LTAP™ Level 1 course left in 2024:

Oct 5th-6th, 2024 in Boston, MA
Nov 2nd-3rd, 2024 in San Diego CA (only one spot left)!

We love a mom and daughter duo! 💪

And yes, we incorporate physical therapy in our sessions, especially if our clients need to make modifications and adjustments because of their injuries.

✨ If you want to try Pilates with your mom or someone dear to your heart, send us a message and we will surely get you a spot! Mother's Day will be here before you know it 😉

So, this happened on Saturday! The last of my three children (and first born) tied the knot in a beautiful, intimate ceremony. Congratulations to @ginsy918 and Chelsea! Lauryn, wishing you all the joy you have given me the last 38 years. Chelsea, we love you like a third daughter. ❤️
