New Yorkers might hate me for this, but your iconic slice isn’t the best pizza out there. 👀

I love a good New York slice, but there’s something about the soft, charred crust, fresh mozzarella, and simplicity of Neapolitan pizza that gets me every time. Antico in Atlanta just reminded me why I stand by this take.

Neapolitan or New York slice?👇

Domino’s Pizza DO NOT Want You Watching This… 👀

@costco sells one of the BEST frozen pizzas on the market 😳

When I’m hunting for a healthy frozen pizza 🍕, here’s my label test:

❌ No Seed Oils
❌ No Added Sugars, Emulsifiers, Preservatives
❌ No Added Flavors

One pizza in Costco’s freezer section passes all of it 🤩

Everyone has an opinion about pizza, and believe me, I have mine!
After 15 years of living in Milton, I’ve eaten my fair share of pizza around Alpharetta and Milton, and these are the places that keep me coming back!
🍕 1. Vintage Pizzeria — My #1!
🍕 2. Crust — Always on my list!
🍕 3. Antico Pizza — Oh, yes please!
🍕 4. Brooklyn Joe’s — A longtime favorite!
🍕 5. Campania — Had to make the cut!
🍕 BONUS: Fellini’s — Because they’ve been around forever, and I couldn’t possibly leave them out! 😂
Now, before anyone comes for me, remember… this is MY list! And yes, I know I said five and gave you six. Who’s counting when we’re talking pizza?! 🍕
Here’s where YOU come in! 👇
Which pizza place in Alpharetta or Milton deserves the #1 spot? And more importantly, which one did I leave out?!
Drop your favorite in the comments. I’m always willing to do a little more pizza research! 😂
And if you’re thinking about moving to Alpharetta or Milton, follow along! I share everything from luxury real estate to the local places that make living here so special.

Dallas, we’re coming.

Antico Casa is at Costco Rockwall October 15–18 — four days only. Gio Di Palma will be there all four, handing out samples of the pizza he’s been making on Hemphill Avenue in Atlanta since 2009. Hand-stretched, hand-topped, Michelin Bib Gourmand three years running. Italian flour, olive oil, no seed oils, no added sugar.
The highest-rated frozen Neapolitan Dave Portnoy has ever reviewed. 8.3.

Texas also gets the first taste of San Gennaro — salsiccia, caramelized onions and dolce piccante over fior di latte. Not in stores anywhere yet.

Most of you are reading this from Atlanta or Houston. If you know someone in Dallas–Fort Worth, tag them below. Last time we were in Texas we sold out in three days — and this is a roadshow, not a shelf. When the run’s gone, it’s gone until the region launches.

Costco Rockwall · 1225 State Hwy 276
October 15–18, warehouse hours

Directions at the link in bio.

FEATURED RESTAURANTS

ANTICO PIZZA NAPOLETANA

The best pizzas linger in memory and spark cravings long after that last piece is gone. Antico Pizza Napoletana’s original Westside location presents several contenders with its straightforward menu of 11 pizzas (five with red sauce, six with white) plus three calzones. San Gennaro makes taste buds swoon with its sweet, spicy, savory and salty combination of sausage, peppers, bufala mozzarella and cippolini onion atop the restaurant’s signature charred-yet-chewy crust. The specialty Sophia pizza is topped with mozzarella, onion, mushrooms and a hint of white truffle oil with sophisticated results. The crowd-pleasing Margherita D.O.P. presents a tantalizing combination of imported tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. Lasagna pizza tops red sauce with meatballs, ricotta and Romano cheeses for flavors that are mild yet satisfying. Off-menu items include a pre-packaged salad and imported drinks. You’re welcome to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy alongside your meal with no corkage fee.

Pizza: $19-$27 • Calzoni: $18-$19
