“Today, I have gone 275 days without visiting the psych ward, and am less than 200 days away from graduating, making me closer to my graduation than my days in the hospital.“ - me
Not only did I take my senior pictures this afternoon, but tonight I had the honor of speaking at an event called Stigmonologues, where TCNJ students spoke about their journeys with mental health and recovery. Today was a day to reflect on and celebrate all my hard work getting to where I am now. Thank you to everyone who listened to my story, & to those who wrote kind words, it means more to me than you will ever know.

Meet our outreach team, starting with Gio!

Why PPGA: I have been advocating for human rights for a while now, and women’s rights is definitely a subject that needs to be addressed more. PPGA is an important resource addressing these issues within reproductive health and rights. I also want to encourage more male supporters as there are very few men out there that rally and support women’s rights or reproductive rights as a whole. In addition, i want to be a safe space for anyone who might need it. :)

The @bdb_tcnj event was a success!🤩Ty to everyone who made it possible💘 (Not pictured: a live demo of My Brain Not Having a Filing Cabinet. Tonight I watched my friends bare their souls and shed tears. Keeping it real was a recurring theme. Perhaps it's only fitting that I showed up for and ~as~ my disabled self♾️)

We hosted our annual Stigmonologues event last night, and it was a huge success! We want to thank all of our amazing speakers for sharing their stories with all of us. It takes so much bravery and strength to stand up their and talk about mental health, and all of you did it beautifully. We also want to thank the audience for being so respectful the whole time and listening with open ears and hearts. And thank you to every single person there: you contributed to breaking down mental health stigmas. See you next year, Stigmonologues!
