I want to say thank you to Coach Carthel, Coach Ross, Coach May, and the entire coaching staff at SFA for believing in me and investing in me. You guys made my dreams a reality, and gave me a better experience than I thought I could ever find. I will forever be grateful for you and will cherish the relationships that we have for the rest of my life. Playing for you was incredible and I couldn’t be more thankful.

To my teammates I will miss chasing our dreams together, playing pool games at the field-house, and joking in the locker room more than anything. Competing with each of you was an honor, and I took great pride in playing for the guys next to me. I would give a whole lot just to have the opportunity to put on the pads as a Lumberjack one more time with this group. This team and what we accomplished at SFA will be talked about for decades, and I’m proud and grateful to have been a member of the 2025 SFA Lumberjacks. Thank you for everything, I love you all and will cherish our memories and the relationships we built.

To anyone that supported us at SFA thank you for giving us a community to play for and make proud. Nacogdoches became a second home to my wife and I, and the first home to our son Mason. We will always love East Texas and the people who make SFA so special.

If anybody learns anything from my career, I hope it’s to keep swinging and trusting in what God has for you no matter how bleak you think things may look, because whatever he has in store for your life is better than any plans we can make on our own, and if our main purpose is to glorify him in all that we do then we are chasing what really matters!

So long college football, thank you for the lessons, the memories, the adversity and the triumphs, and the relationships built! On to the next!
