One year ago we wrapped The Broken Lute, the Sparrows’ immersive interpretation of the Fitzgeraldian chapter, performed in the ONLY standing speakeasy in NYC to have been actually operating since prohibition.

Thanks to the gracious support of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Society (thanks so much Kirk, Walter, Lorrie!), we were incorporated into the Fitzgerald Society’s 2025 NYC conference in June. An experience of a lifetime! Then, thanks to kindness of The Back Room we brought it back again August 2025.

AND THAT’S NOT ALL:

I am THRILLED to announce that The Broken Lute will be RETURNING in Spring 2027 for FIVE WEEKENDS back at @thebackroomnyc!!!

This time we will be joined by director extraordinaire Cameron King @cmrn_kng 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

And for the first time ever, this show is part of a full ‘26-‘27 Sparrows SEASON! Stay tuned for more show announcements 👀
