I’m back! 🌿 Two weeks of vacation filled with sightseeing, trails, fall colours, voting in two elections, and, unfortunately, getting sick. I’m finally on the mend and happy to be back in this little corner of my home and the internet. 🥰

Some stationery moments are really about the ritual. 🤎

Choosing a pen, filling it with an ink I love, picking a few stickers… and then simply sitting down to write.

These little details are what make a journal page feel like mine.

What’s your favorite part of the journaling ritual?

I wonder if you’ll understand why I love this so much… 🤎

It’s not just the fountain pens, the beautiful inks, the paper, the stickers or all the little details that make a journaling page feel special.

It’s the feeling behind them.

The quiet moment before I start writing. Choosing a pen. Watching the ink flow onto paper. Adding a little piece of PET tape here, a sticker there… and slowly turning a blank page into something that feels like mine.

Some hobbies become little rituals.

And somewhere between writing, creating and simply slowing down, I find a little piece of calm that I didn’t know I needed.

Maybe that’s what I love most about journaling: it gives me a reason to pause and be present for a moment.

What little ritual makes you feel at home? 🤎

Drove back to the @sfpenshow specifically to take my chances on the @luxury_brandsofamerica raffle. Somehow actually won… and then almost didn’t win because apparently yelling SEVEN! from the back of a crowd when you're short is less effective than one might think. 😂

Worth the return trip. These are just some of the goodies from the amazing bag!

Slinging pens, petting dogs, and drinking coffee. That’s just a small taste of what a day is like at one of the largest fine writing and stationery distributors in the US!

I need your help 🤓
During my appointment with my chiropractor last week we got to talking and I am going to let him borrow a couple of pens. Hardcore influencing 👀🤣 but hey, if a guy is interested in writing then don't let me stop you 😎
I'm heading back tomorrow. Help.

I've had a week to think, but I can't decide on pens. So please give me some suggestions!

Obviously he needs options for ink for the card he is going to write so he can't have one pen only 🙄 Definitely the 3776 pictured because of an SF nib so he can experiment with line variation.
I am also thinking a TWSBI with a shimmering ink (Colorverse Brane for sure!). But I need one or two more pens. I have the @girologio 3 pen case or the @kyokuhaku 4 pen case for safe travels.

I am not aware of the patient/doctor rules so I will ask him, but I also need to bring paper. Either a small notebook he can keep, if allowed, or a notepad where he can just pull of the paper he use.

Since time is of the essence and I am there for treatment obviously I will also have to write him a note for pen/ink directions. Like "do NOT shake the shimmer like your life depends on it" 🤪
It's going to be fun!

Maybe it's not about having more stationery.

Maybe it's about making the everyday feel a little more special. ✒️

Choosing a pen.
Picking an ink.
Writing something by hand.
Taking a few quiet minutes for yourself.

Kinda chic to still love the little rituals. 🤎

Which one is kinda chic for you?
