Cooking is something I love, but cooking for a greater purpose makes it even more meaningful.

Our team at Mothers and I had the honor of joining this year’s @housefarmworkers Field to Fork Charity Fundraiser alongside an incredible group of chefs from across Ventura County. Together, we donated our time, talent, and food in support of House Farm Workers’ mission to address the housing challenges facing our local farmworker community.

For the past 15 years, @housefarmworkers has worked tirelessly to support farmworker families. In addition to their housing efforts, they’ve also helped create opportunities for the next generation by providing college scholarships to the children of these hardworking men and women. 38 total scholarships have gone out, and we hope that every year that number increases with the hard work and effort from everyone involved.

It was truly inspiring to share a meal with farmworker families, scholarship recipients, supporters, and the generous donors who make this work possible. We’re grateful to everyone who continues to believe in this mission.

On behalf of all of us at @motherstacos, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of such a meaningful evening. Here’s to many more years of giving back to the community that gives so much to all of us. ❤️

This wasn’t just a 5K... it was people coming together, making memories, pushing themselves, and having a good time. Seeing the smiles at the finish line, families running together, kids earning their medals, and everyone representing different countries made this one special.

Thank you to everyone who came out, volunteered, supported, and believed in the vision. We don’t take any of it for granted.

Most importantly, thank You, God. None of this happens without You. 🙏🏻
