Lavender cocktail hour🪻

I wanted to lean into all the purple hyacinths the upper garden at La Foce naturally has, so it seemed only fair to make lavender as the main color along with pastel blues and pinks. We went all out on a mix of lilac, lavender, hydrangea, and snapdragons to make the purple flower garden vision come true. Instead of a photo booth, I opted to have a portrait lounge in the garden with straw chairs surrounded by flower baskets.

While the guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails, including a Negroni and a dry ice pink spritz, I changed into a @moniquelhuillier lavender patterned silk dress and added lavenders in my hair.

We wanted to leverage the beautiful view during daylight, so we lengthened our cocktail hour. We cut our first cake - a traditional, white tiered confection with 3D sugar flowers and ruffles. Hank made a beautiful toast and shared his vows with me. Two of my besties interviewed the guests. We had an open bar and tons of food flowing. Then we topped it off with a bouquet toss (our florist surprised us with a purple bouquet specifically dedicated for this occasion!) All around, it was the most magical cocktail hour. I wish I can go back in time😩
