GIUNGLA (Emanuela Drei) is an Italian musician, producer and sound designer based in Milan, working across songwriting, guitar and experimentation.
Her music has taken her across Europe and North America, including at SXSW, Sziget, Eurosonic and The Great Escape, and alongside artists such as The xx, Foals, Grimes, Franz Ferdinand and Battles.
In recent years, her practice has expanded beyond the traditional song format into more open-ended live work, artist residencies, site-specific projects and original scores for silent films and archival material.
Alongside her solo work, she collaborates across live performance, recording and music production, while also working in sound design and music supervision. She hosts the monthly radio show Unguided Tour w/ GIUNGLA on Radio Raheem.

GIUNGLA is the moniker of Italian musician Emanuela Drei. Her work moves between songwriting, guitar and experimentation.

She presents a live performance exploring her ever-changing relationship with the guitar. A reflection on presence and dissolution. Natural sounds merge with the instrument, creating an intimate space for listening and transformation.
A time to stretch time. A time for missing out.

Sudore, sorrisi, abbracci, relax, lacrime.
