At Favela.. it’s not all about it the surf!
Favela in Brazil is a slum.. which many guests find weird as the name of our place in Mentawai 😂 but to be in a Favela, it means to have community. Your community to share the good times with, to share your food and your place..

Mano, you became a star in the sky now... You gave us so much happiness and joy, always running and trying to bite a bum when you could... Singing every morning and waking up everyone in the house, but at the same time always jumping up on someone's lap for a cuddle... We never thought you would be the first to go as we used to call you 'Mano Crossfit'... Always so healthy and active, but you lost the battle to cancer, my friend, and we will miss you so much... Favela will miss you so much, but now you are at peace.
We will miss you sitting around the bonfire and swimming in the mangroves, but you will live in our hearts forever.
RIP, buddy, we will always love you. ❤️
