It started with a clinic during spring break.

Invitation to Rising Stars.

Training three days a week all summer.

Competing against other academy teams two age groups up.

To competing against the very team that much was accomplished with.

Now. To one of the largest youth soccer tournaments in the United States.

The Disney Junior Showcasing.

Morgan will be given the opportunity to compete along side boys who’re already apart of professional MLS Academy’s, and compete against both Professional and International teams in the Top U9 Division.

To say it’s an honor for our child, some little white boy from Banks Co., is a massive understatement.

Morgan isn’t motivated, he’s dedicated.

Not once has he ever said the words “I don’t want to train today.” It’s always “When’s the next one.” Asking for more, more and more. He’s worked his butt off, he’s came off crying, he’s been knocked down but finds the strength to get back up. He’s had good days and bad. But always wants more.

You didn’t see the time he road for 2 hours for a 1 time 1 hour practice. Or the 3 hour round trip 3-4 days a week. The 2 a day training sessions. The 3 hour training sessions. The countless one on one sessions. The back to back to back to back games. The dedication to grow and develop.

Sometimes I do wish I could say “we forced him” but no he wanted it and he wanted more.

Give Futbol Performance has challenged him in ways we thought would crush him, every time we express concern they stop us and say “He will be fine, he’s got it. He’s a baller.”

They’ve thrown him to the wolves and he came out fighting.

Sink or swim.

And time after time… he was swimming.

Time I thought I knew his limits, he surpassed them.

Time I thought I knew he would be a liability, he was an asset.

I thought I would be the one to take my family to Disney… but our 7 year old is.

Mama and Daddy love you and are beyond proud of you. This is all you and we are here to support you every step of the way. Shout out to @carlefty_huff for this song I stole!
