It’s starting to hit me🥺. Next year, both of my girls will be seniors! 🥰

Jakayla is a rising senior in high school while continuing her dual enrollment at Central Carolina Technical College. Jasiya is officially a senior at University of South Carolina College of Information and Communications gracefully handling every challenge and milestone that comes her way. I love watching them grow into strong, brilliant, purpose-driven women.

The emotions that go into these moments have me feeling like I’m on a roller coaster. One minute I am extremely happy and excited and the next I miss them playing with their baby dolls 😢. The duality of the emotions can be overwhelming at times.

So when you see me posting me working in my garden, just know that I’m doing more than watering my veggies. I’m processing memories, praying through transitions, and nurturing a mama’s heart that’s learning to let go while still holding on. #TwoSeniorsOneProudMama

Yesterday, we went to the #pumpkinpatch on his school field trip and today I told him we would decorate it. We melted crayons 🖍 and had a blast even though it didn’t turn out like we wanted 😂😂😂 View the video in the stories to see how we accomplished this crayon decoration.

After battling both Type A &B Flu all week, I was glad for God’s healing power. I was able to enjoy a great event and invite others to enjoy my story of God’s healing Grace for my family. Thanks again Hello Again 2.
