The Mary Tyler Whores Prepare to Unleash Their New Full-Length Album, As Filthy As We Wanna Be, Worldwide September 25, 2026 on Cadiz Music.

As Filthy As We Wanna Be marks the explosive return of South Florida punk veterans The Mary Tyler Whores- a band whose reputation was forged through unforgettable live performances, fearless attitude, and decades of underground notoriety.

Recorded and produced with legendary guitarist Greg Hetson, the album unleashes 15 uncompromising punk anthems, with guest appearances from Angelo Moore (Fishbone), Riff Raff, Greg Hetson and Mike G.

First Dolly, now Tim Curry. Fuck, man. Another absolute legend gone at 80. Who the hell is left?

Not many of the real ones. They didn’t follow trends—they fucking created them. No filters, no bullshit, no replacements. They broke the mold after these icons.

Raise a glass, crank it loud, let's do the time warp again and praise the originals. There’ll never be another Tim Curry.

Rest in paradise, you fucking legend!

Over two decades ago in the sweaty fucking gutters of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a band crawled out of the South Florida sewer so loud, filthy, and completely unhinged they could only be called:

THE MARY TYLER WHORES.

And the name? You couldn’t make this shit up.

The guys were at their local live music shithole heckling a cheesy-ass cover band that, unbeknownst to them, was made up of Fort Lauderdale cops. Even better—the fucking crowd was packed with off-duty cops.

Bad room to heckle the band.

The cops dragged the guys into the back alley, beat the living shit out of them, and called them “LITTLE WHORES.”

And right there—in a filthy Fort Lauderdale back alley, somewhere between blood, bruises, bad decisions, and complete fucking chaos—

THE MARY TYLER WHORES WERE BORN.

More than two decades of noise, destruction, and punk-rock insanity followed.

They TOURED WITH THE MISFITS and shared stages with IGGY POP, GBH, MURPHY’S LAW and a shitload more.

And somehow, the fuckers survived.

Now they’re back—and filthier than ever.

15 tracks of nasty, loud, sleazy, balls-out PUNK ROCK ’N’ FUCKING ROLL, with special guests ANGELO MOORE of FISHBONE and RIFF RAFF a.k.a. JODY HIGHROLLER.

"AS FILTHY AS WE WANNA BE"

The legendary Carmine Appice (Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck, Ozzy, Vanilla Fudge, Cactus) rolled into our Fort Lauderdale "The Poorhouse" (Florida Filth Tour show) July 16th to catch his favorite punk rock 'n' roll band, The Mary Tyler Whores, and hang with our master beater, George "Korky" Kokkoris.

What an absolute honor having a true rock 'n' roll legend in the house. Thanks for coming out, Carmine. See you next time!
