Today marks 60days without your infectious laugh, big hugs and goofy smile. Life will never be the same without you in it, but we’re getting through one day at a time. ✨💔🖤❤️🪽

“You’ve been quiet lately.”

Catching up on DMs and text messages and this was a reoccurring topic of conversation.

I have been quietly carrying a heavy heart for a few people around me, but in particular, my friend Christina (the beautiful face on the far left) and her family. She recently lost her 25-year old son at the end of April and I have been heartbroken for her these last couple of weeks.

On Wednesday, we celebrated his life, and the place was absolutely packed with people who love him deeply (we are talking 200+ people). Hearing story after story, the theme was the same. Chace was funny, charismatic, and stood up for what was right. People talked about his distinct laugh and his Subaru you could hear coming from down the street. My personal favorite memory of him was when he dressed up as Nacho Libre for Halloween and spent the evening jumping off couches and tackling people to the ground.

What breaks my heart the most is knowing that someone who brought so much light to others, was fighting such a very dark battle. So many people are carrying a pain we may not know about.

In honor of Chace, and to support his family during an unimaginable time, I am sharing their GoFundMe in my bio. You can also show them support by signing up for their meal train (the website gives an option to donate DoorDash gift cards instead of a meal). That link will also be in my bio.

If you are struggling with mental health, you are NOT a burden. You are not alone. There are people who want to listen, sit with you, and walk through hard seasons with you. Reach out to a friend, family member, or dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Check on your people, love on your people, and don’t wait a second longer to tell them what they mean to you. If you are reading this and need someone to talk to, DM me. ❤
