Proud of my homies who stepped up and got after it this past weekend. It is a pleasure to lead this team in battle alongside coaches @thomasdaigrepont and @timcredeur at @gladiatorsla. We experienced both the thrill of victory and agony of defeat, but never once did any of my guys’ fighting spirit waiver. The standard is set and we will get back to building this week.

Leveled up this morning. Couldn’t have done it without my brother @bearjitsu54 instructing me these last 2 years and @headlock11b giving me that initial push to start. Truly grateful for these two men in my life. Jiu jitsu has been one of the most influential parts of my life and I can’t thank these two enough.

🚨 MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

🥋 Featherweight Superfight 🥋

Tommy Daigrepont (Gladiators Academy of Lafayette)
vs Gabe Reed (Grapple House)

Tommy Daigrepont returns to Groundworks Submission Fighting looking to build on the biggest win of his GSF career. A lifelong martial artist, brown belt, and MMA coach at Gladiators Academy of Lafayette, Tommy owns a 3-1 amateur MMA record and a 1-1 record under the GSF banner. Fresh off a bloody overtime victory over Cody Simmons at GSF 4, he’s looking to carry that momentum into another statement performance.

Standing across from him is former GSF Lightweight Champion Gabe Reed.

A purple belt representing Grapple House, Reed is a wrestling coach at STM, owns a 2-1 record in both GSF and amateur MMA, and has proven himself against some of the promotion’s toughest competition. After capturing the inaugural lightweight title, Reed now drops to featherweight in search of a new challenge and another championship opportunity.

A seasoned brown belt.

A former champion.

Two accomplished coaches.

One featherweight showdown.

Who makes their statement at GSF 5?
