![Tradition redefined ❤️🔥
Our beautiful models @avanthika12 @priscilla_sriranjan @s_thanu05 @jshanxox @dinoja.x in @ckssarees draped elegantly by @vee2.visuallure 🤍
The styling directed by Ovea was inspired by @natasha.thasan with various indowestern saree drapes with corsets. Ovea styled the girls in this modern look to symbolise how the gen z diaspora rebel against cultural norms and fuse their dual identities to break the boundaries of Tamil fashion. Each look had its own vibe and direction based on the girls and how they carry themselves but also the characters they play.
We can’t thank our sponsors enough. Inthu aunty was so patient and helpful when picking the sarees, she listened to all of our ideas and helped us select the perfect saree for each girl. Veenusha was so gracious, helpful and kind on show day, she offered her services last minute and brilliantly draped every single girl in the smallest space amidst chaos. Annicah was the best MUA we could have had she killed every single one of the looks with very little direction. We owe a massive thank you to sivani for helping us massively by getting one of the girls ready last minute in half an hour after no one was able to do her makeup. Finally our photographers Santhu and Priyanka thank you so much for helping us capture the girls and their looks. We’re so grateful we had you all on board. 🫶🏽
