⚠️ Fake Client Booking Alert | A Message for Every Freelancer Makeup Artist ⚠️

This is an important awareness post for every freelance makeup artist, hairstylist, nail artist, photographer, and beauty professional who travels to clients.

Recently, I received booking requests on my official WhatsApp number, asking for appointments for today, tomorrow, and the following day. The conversation raised several red flags and appeared to be an attempt to create fake appointments.

Thankfully, I chose to verify the details before confirming the booking.

This experience reminded me how important it is to cross-check every booking, no matter how genuine it may seem.

Before traveling to any location, always:
✔️ Verify the client’s identity.
✔️ Reconfirm the appointment before leaving.
✔️ Ask for the exact venue and event details.
✔️ Collect a booking advance whenever possible.
✔️ Trust your instincts—if something feels off, take a moment to verify.

As freelancers, our time, safety, and hard work are valuable. A few extra minutes of verification can save hours of travel, financial loss, and unnecessary stress.

I’m sharing this only to spread awareness so that no fellow artist has to face a similar situation.
